Hello everyone! :)

Okay..so there's good news and bad..
Good first.. well i compted in this all-region competition 4 choir & stuff and it's like a big honor to make it into the choir. I audtioned on Monday and I got in! Yay! I made THIRD CHAIR 1st soprano yayy! :DD

And.........as 4 school yeah so i was doing well..forawhile.
And then i just plummeted to failing 3 of my classes currently :/ BUT..I PROMISE it won't stay that way. I will bring them all the way up, i will. And for this, i am grounded so i won't be on again in a while probably.

Anddd as 4 the boys haha i dont even have to do anything :]]] hehe.

Hey Family,

How is everyone doing on this fine beautiful Monday morning? Sorry I haven't written anything in a couple days. I met someone who is just a gift from God literally. Her name is Kristie and I couldn't ask for anything more. She is Twenty-one and she lives in Elizabethtown. I met her at work and she also is an EMT and a volunteer fire fighter! She is very beautiful and I call her my Bella Rosa... 

My prayers have truly been answered and I thank you all once again for telling me not to settle and to turn to God in this matter. God really does answer our prayers and I am proof of that.

I hope everyone is doing great!! I am still planning on coming down to Georgia for New Years and I can't wait. If I remember correctly, you all told me that you get "down" for New Years.

Chelz you think its cold in Texas?? It is freezing in PA!! It might actually snow tonight so, yeah I am really happy about that...... NOT. I hope your doing good in school and keeping away from boys.

Thank you Aunt Miriam for Mom-Mom's Email i'll send her an invite to the The Schley Times, I'm not sure how computer savvy she is but with some help maybe she can start writing daily.

In other news... How is everyone? Sorry I haven't been posting. I have been sick and really busy keeping up with everything. Not much other than that. My friend Paul came up to PA today from Georgia, he said it was 74 degrees there when he left and said it was so cold when he got here. I truly wish I was in Georgia or any southern state right now. I am NOT a big fan of the cold or snow. Although it does look really nice around here with all our fall trees showing and losing their colors.

I am glad you had a good time at your homecoming game Chelsea! Good job to your team too. Middletown has been doing a pretty good job as well. I think they are 6-2, or something close to that. If they keep up the good work they might actually make it to the division playoffs. So Go Raiders! 

Anyway, thats all for now. I hope to hear from everyone over the weekend about how everything is going. I still need Mom-Mom's E-mail if anyone has it.

Tonight I went to my school's homecoming game. We won!! We never win, so I'm glad we won at least this game. And tomorrow there's a homecoming dance, I've never been to a dance and Nana's gonna let me go! Yay! :]]

Georgia is on my mind

It only took me 2 days to figure this out.
I am having a good day, watching the Daily Show with John Stewart to get all the news that is the news!
We have decided to hold the New Years Eve party at our house this year....Yippie, we won't have to drive.
I got an e-mail from Mom-Mom this morning, she made it to cyber-space, and she is doing OK.

Thought I would write before I went to work. Chelsea, couple things, numero UNO the steelers are NOT better than the Eagles! And what do you mean your not failing now?? You better get on that girl, when I first met you there was a book in your hand. That means you are smart!

Let me end my thought on the Dallas Cowgirls. With a 6-4 record, they are not doing GREAT!! Sure they won more than they lost but to lose to Arizona!!?? Come on Cowgirls, I think they are starting a WNFL, you can be the first team to sign up. With TO on the team there will be plenty of whining going on. Thats not saying that all woman whine either...

Happy Birthday Shar!!!

Hey Family,

First and foremost, Happy Birthday Shar!! I hope you had a great day. Like LaShawn I am getting into the swing of things at work. I really like it, I work with really funny people. Someone is always crackin' a joke.

Baseball, eh, I could take it or leave it. I am glad we have the Phillies doing so good, hopefully they will wrap it up the next two games. Football, I want everyone to know that I am not a Steelers fan! haha... My team is the Philadelphia Eagles all the way. But anyway what has my veins pumping lately is Penn State Football, they are doing so good! I wish I had some tickets to the games. WE ARE PENN STATE!!!

Nothing else really going on in my neighborhood. Middletown is just as slow as it has always been. 

I wanted to share something I wrote about Franklin Jr, my dad. I wrote this about a year ago last spring semester, in Engl 213 Poetry. I have written many things about my life and hopefully as I share you will be able to share things you have written about your life or just about whatever. 

you were a giant to the kids

in the neighborhood,

they used to joke you would hit your head

on the clouds.

memories when, with all your strength

you lifted your car into the sky.

and the day in the pool when you saved her life.

games like red light green light,

when you let us win.

those where the days I don’t remember.

late nights spent playing

football and racing track cars

laughing when you crashed

your laugh was a force

to be reckoned with

along with your anger

but I don’t remember much of that

mournful days spent reading letters you wrote for work

hearing your voice on the church choir cassette.

to the days of your demise

I wanted no other father

I learned about you through mom

she said you gave me advice,

when I was only six

it would be easier to go on without you

if these memories were my own

so I shed a lonely tear and wait

growing up with only memories

North Carolina adventures

Good Afternoon Family,

Today is a beautiful day in North Carolina. We are just coming off of celebrating Shar's 16th birthday this weekend. We had a great time. I will post pictures and tell tales tomorrow.

Everyone here is busy trying to get back into the swing of things with school and work. Just trying to maintain and stay busy.

Anyway ... How 'bout them PHILLIES!!! Think they will make it all the way? Baseball not your thing??? OK, then how 'bout them STEELERS!
